How chain hoists work
The chain hoist is the most important tool for lifting heavy loads. The actual lifting is carried out by a chain which is pulled over a gearbox. Due to the physical law of leverage, the heavy load at the end of the chain can now be lifted easily. This not only means a healthier way of working for your employees, but also reduces the working time of individual production steps and consequently the entire production process.
The manual trolley is particularly suitable for areas where large loads need to be lifted and no electricity is available for an electric chain hoist. This gives you flexibility and allows you to carry out your work relatively independently of location. The manual chain hoist is operated with both hands.
The chain hoist is therefore ideal for use in the construction sector and throughout industry. Of course, you can also use a chain hoist privately if you often have to carry heavy loads.
The right chain hoist for your project
Which chain hoist is best suited to your application always depends on the weight of the load to be carried. For particularly easy handling with the heaviest possible loads, you should use an electric chain hoist. The electric chain hoist from TORWEGGE offers you a compact housing design including chain storage and an emergency stop button. The overload protection can be easily adjusted from the outside. You can individually select the fine stroke and main stroke for our chain hoist models, as well as the load capacity. The electric chain hoist also has a compact design, making it an ideal tool in confined spaces. The electric chain hoist achieves a high load capacity with low effort and also impresses with its low dead weight.
If you not only want to lift your load, but also move it, we offer a suitable electric trolley and a manual trolley for your chain hoist. Both trolleys can be easily used for all standardised profile beams and are equipped with climbing and fall protection. With the electric trolley for your chain hoist, you can lift weights between 1,400 kg and 5,000 kg in a relaxed manner. In combination with the chain hoist, the manual trolley can carry a load of 300 to 2,200 kg.
When using chain hoists, you should always ensure that the device is checked for damage before each use. This ensures the safety of your employees and the safety of the system and prevents accidents. A safety inspection of the equipment should be carried out once a year. In addition, do not select a chain hoist with a load capacity that is too low - overloading the chain hoist should be avoided at all costs!
